Agile Cold Storage

Connelly Electric partnered with Northern Builders and Architects Plus to construct Atlanta, GA based Agile Cold Storage, LLC’s seventh cold storage warehouse in Joliet, IL, the first in the Chicagoland area. This 202,000 SF state of the art facility has easy access to I-80 and I-55 and is located within 15 minutes of the largest inland ports in North America. The facility provides a variety of value-added services including case picking, container loading & unloading, drayage, import/export services, blast freezing, tempering, and beef and pork boxing and boasts a clear height of 63 feet, 39,360 pallet positions, 8,000 amps of power, 40 dock doors, and more than 100 trailer parking stalls. This fully convertible cold storage facility was built within a 10-month time frame.

Electrical systems installed by Connelly Electric included: General building lighting, Refrigeration & Freezer lighting, conditioned dock lighting; 2-4000 amp electrical services; 1 - 100KW emergency backup generator; Generally distributed building power, refrigeration & HVAC power distribution; Low Voltage/ Structured data cabling, Security system.
